New Years Resolutions
As the calendar turns a fresh page and the new year unfolds before us, many of us embark on a journey of self-improvement and positive change. New Year’s resolutions provide a fantastic opportunity to set goals, cultivate healthy habits, and rejuvenate various aspects of our lives. Below are some of the areas that I’ll be focused on in the New Year, centered around reorganizing the home, embracing a consistent fitness routine, and fostering overall well-being.
Declutter and Organize
The Junk Drawer

There are a few places in my kitchen that could use a little TLC. The junk drawer, in particular, has turned into a catch-all for every random small item that finds its way into the kitchen. My priority now is to transform it into a purposeful space, ensuring it stays organized and serves its intended function. One of the bigger challenges is figuring out a good method of cord organization, so I’m planning to test out some of the below products as a starting point.

The “Baby” Drawer

The “baby” drawer in our kitchen has also become a continual challenge to maintain in an organized manner. My goal is to figure out a good method for storing daily essentials like bottles, nipples, caps, and other feeding items to streamline its functionality. Below are some of the items I’ve been adding to my Amazon cart, including some new cups and snack containers as we outgrow our current assortment.

Establish a Consistent Fitness Routine
Physical health is often at the forefront of New Year’s resolutions, and rightfully so. This year, my goal is to incorporate a mix of cardio , strength training, and flexibility exercises into my weekly schedule.

Less Takeout, More Home Cooking

In the coming year, I’m challenging myself to cultivate a healthier and more mindful approach to eating habits by reducing my reliance on takeout and embracing the joy of home cooking. One of my goals is to perfect the smoothie from my favorite takeaway spot.
DIY Home Projects
This year my goal is to tackle several meaningful and personally rewarding projects that add a touch of unique style to my living space. Whether it involves creating DIY artwork, adding a paneled accent wall, or repurposing furniture or decor, I am excited about dedicating time and energy to improve my home while acquiring new skills along the way.
